Executive MBA Programs offer the more experienced, working adult to advance in his or her career. The Executive MBA Council was formed in 1981 to help advance executive education, and the field has since broadened.
Today, many institutions are offering Executive MBA programs in addition to the traditional MBA programs. Because the degree caters to working adults, the Executive MBA degrees are now being offered as online programs.
